Jointly offered data sets

In the catalogue, two data sets are being offered at a discounted information price. The discount is granted by each individual Member.

The different data sets can be found below, with the respective price (updated every half year)

In the station list, it is indicated which stations are contained in the data sets (columns RBSN and GTS)

A "Three-hourly European RBON Data Set" is provided at a discounted information price for the re-use by Service Providers within the EUMETNET Territory (including redistribution as type B value added services to end users and broadcasters).

The individual Members have granted specific discounts on the information price of their respective contribution to this RBON data set resulting in a total package price of 12,000 EURO per year (price applicable from 1-7-2024 till 31-12-2024).

The package comprises all available (chargeable and non-chargeable) three-hourly SYNOP/BUFR reports from the RBON stations as defined by WMO Regional Association VI.

The volume discount does not apply to this data set, since the discount is already taken into account in the package price.

A "European WIS Data Set" is provided at a discounted information price for the re-use by Service Providers within the EUMETNET Territory (including redistribution as value added services to end users and broadcasters).

The individual Members have granted specific discounts on the information price of their respective contribution to this WIS data set resulting in a total package price of 80,000 EURO per year (price applicable from 1-7-2024 - 31-12-2024].

The package comprises all available (chargeable and non-chargeable) SYNOP/BUFR reports as listed in the Catalogue and as far as these are subject to exchange through the WIS system of WMO.

The volume discount does not apply to this data set, since this discount is already taken into account in the package price.

Volume discount applicable on data bought in addition to the GTS data set:
When buying additional data next to the GTS data set, the (entire) volume of chargeable data in the GTS data set can be taken into account when calculating the volume discount to synops not contained within the GTS data set and originating from Greece.
